About this trip
A short desert break that fits into a long weekend. The group travels overnight from Ahmedabad by AC sleeper bus, spends a day on Jodhpur's blue city and Mehrangarh, then moves to the Sam dunes outside Jaisalmer for a night under canvas with a jeep safari, folk music and dancing.
The last morning is a sunrise camel safari, then the golden city itself - Jaisalmer Fort, Patwa Haveli, Gadisar Lake and the abandoned village at Kuldhara - before the overnight return.

Day 1
Arrival at Jodhpur
Mehrangarh, Umaid Bhawan, Jaswant Thada and the clock tower market.
Reach the Jodhpur resort in the morning for room allotment, breakfast and a chance to freshen up. Then the blue city: Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, the clock tower and Ghantaghar market.
Back to the resort in the evening for a buffet dinner and the night.
Meals: breakfast and dinner. Entry fees are payable by guests.
Day 2
Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and the Sam desert
Jeep safari, Rajasthani folk dance and a night in a Swiss tent.
Day 3
Sam desert to Jaisalmer city
Sunrise camel safari, then the golden city and the overnight return.
Entry tickets at every monument are payable directly by guests and are not part of the package price.
